Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA IV) has broken sales records in its first week of release.

In the first week, GTA4 sold 6 million copies, or $500 million dollars. It also broke Halo 3's 24 hour sales record of $170 million by $140 million, ringing up a total of $310 million on April 29th alone.

Take-Two on the other side of a lawsuit this time

Take-Two is suing the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for pulling Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA) advertisements without explanation.

GTA 4 Downloadable Content to add “hours” of gameplay

According to a statement from Microsoft, Grand Theft Auto 4's future DLC will include "exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV episodes that will provide hours of additional game play."

Currently, there are no details on pricing or gameplay for the upcoming downloadable content.
